Jurgen is a great guide and a wonderful representative of Costa Rica and San Jose in particular. He enthusiastically shared his knowledge with us and did a terrific job.
Ms. Randy B., San Jose, 09 May 2016
I was unable to do the booked trip but Eric Gomez made sure that we got the tour and it was exactly what we expected and he was very accommodating and has great knowledge of the history of San Jose. It worked out better as there was an ox cart parade the day we visited.
Ms. Francine B., San Jose, 20 Mar 2016
I had a wonderful time on my San Jose by Night Tour led by Eric. He had a wealth of knowledge and was keen to show me all San Jose had to offer and he did. This tour was a great way to be introduced to the and experience the City.
Ms. Cally T., San Jose, 02 Feb 2016
Good tour. Guide could have been more enthusiastic. People with passion for their city, country, lifestyle would be great for a position within your company. Tour guides should try to get to know a few of each of the shop keepers along the tour. so the shop keepers would be excited to see us and hopefully sell us some of their items. I felt we were in the way sometimes. Would recommend your guild to have a flag, sign, or umbrella with the name "Urban Adventure" on it so the meeting point and finding them would be easier. Also, directions are good but if you're not familiar with the area, then having the directions in the native language (Spanish) would be good. I got lost trying to find the meeting place and if they were in Spanish (as well as English), then I might have had a little help from the local in finding the correct meeting place. Other than that, I enjoyed the tour and the ability to try some local items.
Mr. Justin S., San Jose, 25 Jan 2016
This experience was out of this world. I have Eric, the guide to thank for this. I enjoyed the hike, the sloths, the frog, the ants, the iguana, the birds, the bats, the rain, the bridge, the monkeys, the flowers, the food, the shops, etc. And yes, the chocolate. How could anyone ever forget the chocolate.
My fellow travelers also made this trip complete. We all enjoyed the trip. It was a "perfect" day.
Mr. Rajesh K., San Jose, 30 Nov 2015
This was an excellent tour. We got our exercise plus a lot of good information on local San Jose sites and customs.
Mrs. Barbara R., San Jose, 08 Nov 2015
The tour in San Jose was wonderful. We saw much of the city and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Meeting Gerardo Montoya was also very special and we will never forget our experience. Thank you!

Excellente tour to Tirimbina -yummy chocolate tour to see and taste the production of chocolate from the bean to the savory smooth chocolate. . . .swinging bridges walk to a fabulous hike in the foresty jungle with LOTS of ID's of plants, trees, animals, birds, insects. Highly recommend for a day trip OUT of the the city and enjoy the REAL Costa Rica country.
Ms. Lori S., San Jose, 16 Sep 2015
Eric was a fantastic guide. He not only knew the history and all the facts about the markets and churches that we visited, but also know the local people who were working in the markets. I think that made the tour significantly better.
